Since the middle of the ‘80s tour operator/tour organizer activity has marked the beginning of Dimsi group entrepreneurial plan. Through the years, with Dimensione Sicilia brand, its tour organizing skills have developed considerably.
The company finds part of that experience in the partnership recently established with Dimsi T.O. incoming Italy tour operator, whose aim is to provide travel agencies and tour operators with support and assistance for Italian tours and journeys organization, paying particular attention to incoming Sicily product.
Highly qualified staff coming from many years lasting experience is ready to offer a wide view of all services available in the island. The company is able to produce a wide range of different proposals in accordance with individuals and groups demands by making the most of a deep knowledge of Sicily and its accommodation potential: weekly tours, week-end, accommodations by the sea, guided tours, Fly&Drive, incentives, conferences, sport events, wellness and thematic routes.

In 1995 Dimsi group creates SHR Hotels & Resorts franchising project in order to contribute to the retraining of Sicilian hotel industry by looking for strong commercial partners ready to venture on management activity in a filed that showed wide chances of development. Soon results arrive and the project of a Sicilian hotel chain in franchising takes off.
In the years various hotels have joined the project, each of them with its own stylistic connotation but joined together by the aim of satisfying the exigencies of a wide range of clientele.
Hotels with a leisure or business vocation, strategically placed in the main tourist locations, in the years have joined SHR brand.
Nowadays SHR chain counts seven hotels with 2.300 sleeping accommodations. Five hotels are associated in franchising and two are part of the product line for commercialization known as “promoted by”.

The first project, already started near Catania and carried out by Hotel Domani Srl, provides a new concept of building realization.
The building is divided into two parts, a traditional one and an innovative part with 160 bed capacity.
This kind of low cost hotel gives up expensive services like restaurant or bar and proposes large and comfortable rooms, a buffet breakfast, check in e check out facilities.
Dimsi new project provides a complete assistance from planning to financing, focusing on the individuation of new partners expert in the innovation field in order to invest and plan new accommodation solutions in Sicily.
